Despite this, talking about the next installment in the 25-year-old franchise is discouraged, at least on the official Twitch channel of Rockstar Games. This follows behavior the company started exhibiting on YouTube as well.
When users attempt to type GTA VI or GTA 6, they are greeted with the message that appears when a banned word or filter is applied on Twitch channels – "Your message wasn't posted due to conflicts with the channel's moderation settings." Publishers hushing people on their own platforms about titles is nothing new. Wild speculation can often draw attention to things the developers may not wish to reveal or may not have information about yet.

GTA Online has shown a regular player base and persistent earnings for the company. There's potential for a loss of funds if people's focus is shifted away from what is currently earning them money.
There is very little known about the new title. Some people have ventured guesses that we may see a return to Vice City, the fictional city based on southern Florida cities in the United States. As of right now, the only information anyone has from Rockstar for sure is that it is being worked on. Anything else is most likely speculation.

Amazon and UPS has swallowed up everything in its path, even the United States Fish and Wildlife Service bowed down to them, allowing an 8,000 year old grassland to be wiped off the face of the earth.
The Endangered Species Act was violated, and yet they only got a slap on the wrist. The USFWS that implemented the law, did not enforce it, holding hands with the airport and big money.

He's a senior in HS at this time, and to top it all off, he's the one rapping about being pretentious. In Bastard, he criticizes the rap industry by not ching things up. I had a kind of shitty high school experience, I had pretty bad mental health wasn’t doing anything and dropped out about a year ago, I went to a few parties had some fun, made close friends etc but barely got out. I’m now back finishing my senior year with online school trying to undo all that happened. I had a solid childhood but part of me can’t leave my past behind and become an adult. I’m only 17 now, but I’m really trying to focus up and get my life back on track trying to work a job, go to the gym, while doing school. I just don’t feel ready to be an adult and put my younger years behind me. Luckily my friends I met in high school are all going to the same college so I’m sure I’ll have some fun in the future but I can’t let go of the past. I miss being a young kid with no responsibilities, I miss playing high school sports, I miss being young playing at the park and being happy all the time, I’m gonna miss my family etc. Now in a few months I’m going to be moving out, starting my own life but I barely feel mature, I don’t feel like I’ve became a man yet. how do I move forward?

The bill that would ban TikTok is called the RESTRICT Act, and it would give the government power to ban any app or service that it decides is linked to a “foreign adversary”. It’s deliberately written to be very vague, and the services it restricts will be decided by the Department of Commerce, the head of which is an unelected position appointed by the president. This bill would give them the power to censor basically anything to American internet users.
It also restricts the use of VPNs, as they can be used to get around these restrictions. This would not only target people who believe this kind of censorship is unjust, but anyone who uses one simply for security and privacy online.

We’re looking to buy a home in a moderate cost of living city. Ideally 3+ bed, 2+ bath. We plan to live in this house for 5-7 years and I could see us having 1-2 kids during that time frame.
If you were in our shoes, & given the current market, what would you reasonably set as your budget? We have no debt (but may need a new car in the next 2 years). We initially set our budget at $350k for a home that requires work, maybe more for a home that’s move-in ready with few repairs. After seeing what’s available, considering raising our budget to low 400’s.

Spex appears to have been banned from the website in general. If you click on his profile, it says 'page not found'. If he had deleted his account, he would have done so. He's still able to edit comments he has already made. In fact, he has done so to push back against comments made about him.

Joe made talking points that I pushed back on pretty hard, as you can see. I'll always push back hard on any talking points that erode reasonable expectations of being upfront and clear about financial conflicts of interest.
But I want to talk about a greater trend that I see as faux-ignorance of these influencers in disclosing their financial conflicts of interest. The big four are Joe Tillman, Spex, Spencer Kobren, and Melvin/Pat of HRN.
They make finding the disclosure information really hard to find, if at all possible. And they feign ignorance that the disclosure information isn't obvious. An example of that is a conversation I had with Melvin and his list.

He pointed out that there is a page where that info is mentioned. First, that information needs to be frontloaded, but I'm just going to move past that for a second to point out that there is no way to find that page from their recommended surgeons list. I called him out on this, and he never responded.
One of the most egregious examples is where he banned a member for calling out his financial conflicts of interests.

He never mentioned the fees the surgeons pay to the site, and the site pays to Melvin. If you pin him down, he will say something like 'of course my time isn't free!', as if everyone should automatically know that from deduction. It's nonsense. It's faux-ignorance. They all know what they're doing. It's designed plausible deniability.
Maybe there's some sort of specific stupidity where their intent is innocent, but for anyone who is new to this stuff, my recommendation is to go ahead and assume they are intentionally trying to deceive you. You don't have time to give them the benefit of the doubt. There is a ton of information for you to absorb, and if these influencers can't abide by the very reasonable and ethical consideration of frontloading their financial conflict of interest, they deserve all the flak coming to them.
There's a ton of mental gymnastics that can be done with defending people who don't abide to this. In the conversation with Joe linked above you can see it. My question to them is instead putting all that effort into mental gymnastics, why not just front-load and make clear your financial conflicts of interest? Seriously, what's the excuse? It'll mess up with your website design?
Maybe they think there's some sort of marginal financial utility to having a percent of people not be aware of it? Well, I'll try to give them a financial incentive to be clear by calling them out on their nakedly egregious behavior.
And make no mistake, a lot of people will not be aware of it. A lot of people will just go with whoever is marketed to them. A few people will look up these lists and just go to the doctors without reading the texts. A few will do more. This might not be obvious, but the forum world is a small percent of people who get hair transplants. But even if you tune into the forum world, they may not get it due to the intensional obfuscation of these sites.
Lets take HRN for example. The first couple of posters were completely unaware of the financial relationship between the docs and the list. These users have comment history in the hundreds and one even in the thousands. One went out of his way to seek this information

The onus isn't on you to make these deductions or to scour every inch of their websites to find it. The onus is on them to disclose it, and for anything less than that they deserve to be called out on their appalling behavior.
A few words about Joe. Although I pushed back hard on his talking points, he has an outstanding posting history on this website. It's obvious he's spending hours of his valuable free time giving high quality posts like this.

I would also say his post history is flawless but today I had to remove a comment breaking rule 2. I didn't give him my usual 1 day temp ban or anything like that, he was coming off a heated discussion with me, and the user he was talking to made some pointed remarks (which is allowed under rule 2; there is high leeway for influencers and people in authority). I think he just lost control of his emotions so I just gave him a warning and left it at that. But other than that, his post history is flawless.
I think he's out of touch regarding standards of financial disclosure, but he's behavior on here in general is most excellent and I appreciate every hour he spends on here.

Spex appears to have been banned from the website in general. If you click on his profile, it says 'page not found'. If he had deleted his account, he would have done so. He's still able to edit comments he has already made. In fact, he has done so to push back against comments made about him.

But I want to talk about a greater trend that I see as faux-ignorance of these influencers in disclosing their financial conflicts of interest. The big four are Joe Tillman, Spex, Spencer Kobren, and Melvin/Pat of HRN.
They make finding the disclosure information really hard to find, if at all possible. And they feign ignorance that the disclosure information isn't obvious. An example of that is a conversation I had with Melvin and his list.

He pointed out that there is a page where that info is mentioned. First, that information needs to be frontloaded, but I'm just going to move past that for a second to point out that there is no way to find that page from their recommended surgeons list. I called him out on this, and he never responded.
One of the most egregious examples is where he banned a member for calling out his financial conflicts of interests.

He never mentioned the fees the surgeons pay to the site, and the site pays to Melvin. If you pin him down, he will say something like 'of course my time isn't free!', as if everyone should automatically know that from deduction. It's nonsense. It's faux-ignorance. They all know what they're doing. It's designed plausible deniability.
Maybe there's some sort of specific stupidity where their intent is innocent, but for anyone who is new to this stuff, my recommendation is to go ahead and assume they are intentionally trying to deceive you. You don't have time to give them the benefit of the doubt. There is a ton of information for you to absorb, and if these influencers can't abide by the very reasonable and ethical consideration of frontloading their financial conflict of interest, they deserve all the flak coming to them.
There's a ton of mental gymnastics that can be done with defending people who don't abide to this. In the conversation with Joe linked above you can see it. My question to them is instead putting all that effort into mental gymnastics, why not just front-load and make clear your financial conflicts of interest? Seriously, what's the excuse? It'll mess up with your website design?
Maybe they think there's some sort of marginal financial utility to having a percent of people not be aware of it? Well, I'll try to give them a financial incentive to be clear by calling them out on their nakedly egregious behavior.
And make no mistake, a lot of people will not be aware of it. A lot of people will just go with whoever is marketed to them. A few people will look up these lists and just go to the doctors without reading the texts. A few will do more. This might not be obvious, but the forum world is a small percent of people who get hair transplants. But even if you tune into the forum world, they may not get it due to the intensional obfuscation of these sites.
Lets take HRN for example. The first couple of posters were completely unaware of the financial relationship between the docs and the list. These users have comment history in the hundreds and one even in the thousands. One went out of his way to seek this information

I'm in the DC area, recently graduated my undergrad and currently pursuing grad school in Economics. I'm interested in a career in finance, I recently passed the SIE exam and I have been applying to finance jobs in the area. It's been about two weeks, right now the only responses I've gotten are for financial advisor positions. I have done some phone screenings and have a few interviews scheduled, but I feel a bit skeptical about these jobs, as they claim to help you "start your own business" and seem to have very little or no salary, relying entirely on commission from sales. Has anyone heard of Financial Growth Partners and can speak to their reputability, or lack of? Should I just stay away from financial advisor roles? If so, what roles in the financial sector should I specifically look out for as good opportunities? I really don't know what to look for in an employer, as my experience is very limited.

We opened backdoor post-tax IRAs/Roth IRAs with managed features (as I understand, means someone actively monitors a bunch o'money and diversifies gains across different investment categories) and for FY 2022 with the help of our financial advisor. She is encouraging us to deposit the max for 2023 ASAP before the stock market drops due to further interest rate hikes, speculation, but it usually does that.
My wife invested $3,000 in a mutual fund (not sure what type, but I'm assuming stocks and index funds) before she met me. It lost half its value in 2008, but it's now worth about $6,000. Our financial advisor suggested she sell the mutual fund to help fund her 2023 IRA. I think it makes sense to sell it now and pay capital gains on $3k and move it into a post-tax investment, versus paying more tax when/if it increases in value. I trust our financial advisor, but I'm not going to ask my wife to do something she's uncomfortable with.
Will the Roth IRA do better than the mutual fund? Is it about more than just the taxes?
