I have a 3 year old lab mix who definitely had a bit of trauma before we adopted her. She's afraid of enclosed spaces and loud dogs among other things.
Since we've gotten her she's become very attached to my fiancee and I and our home. To the point where she has trouble relaxing outside our house unless all 3 of us are together and relaxing.
We're at the beach for the weekend and staying in a dog friendly hotel. She's fine in our hotel room as long as we're both there. But outside she basically just pants nonstop, even if we're just sitting around a table. I know thats a sign of anxiety but could she also just be excited to be out and about? She's still looking for food and getting pets from people, so I can't tell.
I also want her to get accustomed to these things and realize they're not going to hurt her. But its hard to force her outside if she seems so uncomfortable for whole time :(

Long story short I've (28) always wanted to visit Thailand and finally found the time to do so this year. The following day I get a message from my cousin, telling me not to go and how dangerous it was and how my aunt was worried about me. Then my dad calls me and then tells me the same thing and about how he couldn't sleep last night because of the thought of me going to such a run down and dangerous country. I tried to reassure him but nothing I said could really appease his fear. He told me he had not yet told my mom.
So after I hung up the phone, several minutes later I get bombarded with calls and texts from my mom telling me how I will be human trafficked and infected with HIV, literally paragraphs and paragraphs of text. They even wired me money to tell me to pick a different destination.
I was going to originally go regardless of their opinion but just by how insanely worried they got, legitimately believing these insane ideas about Thailand, I thought it would be best to cancel my flight because I felt extremely guilty in putting my family and extended family in this position of prolonged fear.
I do plan on going in the future, but this time I would not disclose my plans to any of them. However I am so angry. Words cannot describe how angry I am. I have been laying in bed all day and fighting the urge to smash things, but also replaying the other family traumas that have occured in my life where my extremely controlling parents have attempted to ruin my plans, life choices, and been extremely unsupportive in general. Frankly I'm so exhausted by this constant quarreling in this family.
I'm super sad I will not get to fulfill my plans to go to Thailand, meanwhile my parents think this is for my own good and cannot see past their ignorance and stupidity. I've been angry for more than 16 hours and I feel light headed. I'm so sick of this. Thanks for listening.

My wife (26) who is 7 months pregnant calls me from work. She works part time serving breakfast at a hotel. We live in South Carolina. From her tone I can tell she’s having a rough morning. She’s obviously very upset and I would like to take action against the family but they’re children so I understand if that can’t be done. In the last 2 days we had some close relatives that came here to stay with us and it was their first visit. They enjoyed valletta, mdina and the beaches but they noticed the overdevelopment around the island, and for them this is a big cons. Now, a good quarter of revenue in the island is generated by tourism, and all those cranes is impacting negatively as people won’t come to see a big construction site around. Is so important for the government to continue the destruction of the island? As construction doesn’t produce so much revenue, except for the fat pig we all know

But now I'm at war with them, they have taken over most sovjet cities, and the army output with 30 cities is incredible....

I can't go over 11 cities, so i try to gift cities to my allies and vassals, but they are technologically far behind, and can not pull their weight yet.... how can the indians be stable with so many cities? Is this a bug? The only way I see to still win this, is to just nuke all their cities. Can someone give me tips on things to do in Greece? What are the must dos? Can anyone recommend the best beach clubs etc? I know there are beach clubs but is there such thing as pool clubs - a place with a pool we can visit at sunset with a nice view? Our hotel doesn’t have a pool.

I'm back with the May update for my AI Assisted Content Site. So far, the site is growing nicely with a positive trajectory.
Background - I started an AI Assisted Content Site in January 2023 to experiment. It is a moderately competitive niche with high DA media websites (like Dotdash) ranking for many normal keywords. However, I was able to find a certain type of keywords that these websites were not focusing.
And it is a niche that has a lots of research papers available in Google scholar and similar libraries. So, I created a simple angular based web application that writes articles using the research I feed. I use ChatGPT API for the text generation. To make things more easier, I use Bing Search API to download CC0 image for my posts automatically.
Enough background, let's move on to the month updates.
Last month, I set a target of 31 articles. And, I wrote 32 articles in so that I can make the total article count 100. Feeling so happy and proud, because this is the first time ever in my 3 years of blogging history, I achieved my monthly article milestone.
