2023.06.03 07:29 MintPolo [Elvui][Help] Druid Forms - Action paging proper 'code', including stealth form
Hi all,
I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to share their action paging code for druid forms.
Though I have copied something I found for warrior stances, making some necessary amendments, it seems that this doesn't accommodate feral stealth form action bar changes.
I'd rather not give up on Elvui based on my own naivety, but as a UI incompetent, I'm burning a lot of my free hours trying to replicate something the normal UI does for me.
Thanks for any help.

2023.06.03 01:18 Zearria Secret Artifact 30 Dungeon Tint is not counting
Hey friends, My friend and I have run into a problem that Blizz seems aware of of but doesn’t have a solution too, and hoped one of y’all had a solution.
In Legion, to unlock another one of your secret artifact tints, you need to run 30 legion dungeons. My friend is working on that, has her artifact equipped and selected to the secret appearance but the counter hasn’t moved. She’s Feral Druid if it matters. Thank you

2023.06.03 00:33 Terianky [M4F] An unlikely partnership between a halfling wizard and [your OC] - a medieval high fantasy adventure with a sweet unexpected slow burn romance (D&D).
Hey there, I'm looking for a fairly literate partner to have a medieval high fantasy roleplay with. The setting is very similar to your classic D&D world: A vast world with many races (the classic ones: humans, elfs, drows, dwarfs, halflings, orcs...), magic and witchcraft, spirits and demons, mystical beasts and even more mystical characters. Other than that, the story takes place in an enormous continent called Artasol where kings, lords, dukes, jarls and chieftains are all engaged in intense rivalries, some of which have turned into bitter conflicts where unexpected events are to be expected.
My character is Aaryn Newart: an introverted young halfling of the neurotic type with a small stature and innocent features. Aaryn spent most of his time in his house's study devouring the book collection which his father left behind before disappearing. Early on in his life, he discovered his talent for magic and arcane academia and eventually decided to become his little village's expert in all things related to magic, alchemy, and medicine even though he isn't much of an expert compared to the highly educated and trained mages of Artasol. A strange encounter made him leave his cozy shielded village searching for answers surrounding his father in a world filled with unrest, deadly beasts, and dark ruthless powers, but also beautiful regions, colorful characters, and kindness. And in the midst of it all, he’ll meet your character, you could make her be whatever you want as long as she’s a martial type character.
So let us travel through the Maerth plains where the wondrous magic of the first druids is said to manifest itself ever so beautifully. Or let us go through the Athlermon ruins to investigate and see what remains of a dead empire’s ancient treasures. Or maybe we should go see the great city of Thermidia and be amazed at the sight of the incredible palaces which the dwarfs built into the mountains as they dominated the stone and made a city out of it.
I play in third person, use ref pics, and need a proactive partner since I've only built some outlines of the world and some intrigue points relating to my character but I still haven’t figured out any plot or actual world-building. I would love to find someone who'd build along and expand this idea and plot with me. PLEASE have AT LEAST: a ref pic, a name, and a goal/plotline for your character. I am not a DM and I don’t want to be one. If you’re going to make your character just react to events without actually contributing to the story and world-building then I don’t think this rp is right for you.

2023.06.02 23:08 Slo-- Class tuning 6 June 2023
Class Tuning Incoming – June 6 - General Discussion - US - Blue Tracker - World of Warcraft (wowhead.com) ----
As we continue to monitor class performance in instanced group content as well as PvP, we regularly adjust classes that are over- or under-performing. Based on recent data, observations, and feedback from players, we intend to make the following adjustments during scheduled weekly maintenance (on June 6 in this region).
Classes
Death Knight - Blood
- All damage abilities increased by 8%.
Druid - Feral
- Developers’ notes: The following set bonus changes will increase the average number of stacks of the (2) Set Bonus and cause the (4) Set Bonus to trigger less often, but provide more Agility when it does.
- Aberrus (2) Set Bonus: Chance for Shadows of the Predator stacks to reset reduced by 15%.
- Aberrus (4) Set Bonus: Now increases Agility by 8% (was 5%).
Evoker - Preservation
- Developers’ notes: We would like there to be more of a reward to using Disintegrate over Living Flame as a Preservation Evoker, since it has a high Essence cost.
- Disintegrate damage has been increased by 15% for Preservation Evoker.
Hunter - Beast Mastery
- All damage dealt by you and your pet’s abilities increased by 5%.
Mage - Fire
- Pyroblast damage increased by 5%. This does not apply to PvP combat.
- Fire Blast damage increased by 10%. This does not apply to PvP combat.
- Fireball damage increased by 10%. This does not apply to PvP combat.
- Phoenix Flames damage increased by 10%. This does not apply to PvP combat.
- Scorch damage increased by 10%
Monk - Brewmaster
- All ability damage increased by 3%.
- Rising Sun Kick damage increased by 10%.
- Blackout Kick damage increased by 30%.
- Tiger Palm damage increased by 30%.
- Mistweaver
- All healing abilities increased by 3%. This does not apply to PvP Combat.
Rogue - Assassination
- All ability damage increased by 5%.
Warlock - Developers’ notes: The high frequency of Amplify Curse has been problematic in PvP combat, so its cooldown has been increased. These changes are also noted in the PvP section below.
- The cooldown of Amplify Curse is now 60 seconds (was 30 seconds).
- Teachings of the Satyr now reduces the cooldown of Amplify Curse by 15 seconds (was 10 seconds).
Warrior - Arms
- Developers’ notes: Arms Warriors are not performing as well as we would like in single target or low-target-count situations.
- All ability damage increased by 4%.
- Fatality Fatal Mark damage increased by 15%.
- Deep Wounds periodic damage increased by 5%.
- Rend periodic damage increased by 5%.
- Protection
- Developers’ notes: Protection Warriors are not currently performing as competitively as we would like compared to most other tanks in terms of damage and survivability.
- All damaging abilities increased by 8%.
- Auto-attack damage increased by 10%.
- Spell Block’s duration increased to 30 seconds (was 20 seconds).
- Thunderlord now causes each enemy hit by Thunder Clap to reduce the remaining cooldown of Demoralizing Shout by 1.5 seconds, up to 4.5 seconds (was 1.0 seconds, up to 3.0 seconds).
Player versus Player
Druid - Balance
- Developers’ notes: Balance Druids have been overperforming due to their ability to generate so much Astral Power and deal high damage by applying dots and casting Starfall repeatedly. We’d like to reduce the effectiveness of that playstyle since it’s difficult for opponents to stop. Goldrinn’s Fang also became much more effective in Embers of Neltharion, and includes some randomness and ability to score kills unexpectedly. Finally, Owlkin Adept has been a locked-in talent for a while now and has been propping up their control a bit more than we’re comfortable with.
- Moonfire and Sunfire generate 4 Astral Power when cast in PvP combat (was 6).
- Stellar Innervation increases Astral Power generation of Moonfire and Sunfire by 50% in PvP combat (was 100%).
- Star Burst grants 8 Astral Power (was 15).
- Owlkin Adept reduces the cast time of Cyclone and Entanglng Roots by 20% (was 30%).
- Goldrinn’s Fang damage is reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
- Wrath and Starfire deal 60% increased damage in PvP combat (was 50%).
Hunter - Marksmanship
- Developers’ notes: Marksmanship Hunters have been underperforming in different forms of PvP content.
- Aimed Shot damage increased by 25% in PvP combat (was 15%).
- Rapid Fire damage increased by 25% in PvP combat (was 15%).
- Arcane Shot damage increased by 25% in PvP combat (was 16%).
Priest - Discipline
- Developers’ notes: Discipline has been more reliant on shields this season than we’d like. We’re increasing Atonement healing while bringing down the power of shields, with the goal of the preferred playstyle being an offensive one. We’re also targeting the mana reduction from Inner Light, as Discipline has been more mana efficient than we’d like.
- Power Word: Shield now absorbs 15% less damage in PvP combat.
- Inner Light now reduces the mana cost of the affected spells by 10% (was 15%).
- Atonement healing is now 50% more effective in PvP combat (was 40%).
Mage - Fire
- Developers’ notes: Glass Cannon is intended to have high risk and high reward with its gameplay, and we feel the risk is too low for the benefit it provides, especially when paired with Flamecannon.
- Glass Cannon now decreases maximum health by 20% (was 15%)
- Flamecannon now increases maximum health by 2% per stack (was 3%).
Monk - Mistweaver
- Developers’ notes: Mistweavers have been overperforming compared to other healers, especially due to their mana efficiency.
- Soulfang Infusion now regenerates 75% less Mana in PvP combat (was 50%).
- Zen Spheres now cost 0.5% base Mana.
- Enveloping Mist now heals for 5% more in PvP combat (was 20%).
- Mistweaver Monks now regenerate 15% less Mana in PvP combat (was 10%).
- Windwalker
- Developers’ notes: Whirling Dragon Punch has felt underwhelming and we’d like it to feel impactful to use without being a major portion of a Windwalker’s damage profile.
- Whirling Dragon Punch damage increased by 80% in PvP combat.
Shaman - Enhancement
- Developers’ notes: There are a few talents that are leading to fast kills that can feel unfair when facing an Enhancement Shaman. We’re aiming to bring down the burst potential from cooldowns and increase sustained DPS.
- Forceful Winds is now 75% effective in PvP Combat.
- The damage increase to Lava Lash from Ashen Catalyst is now 33% effective in PvP combat.
- Lava Lash now deals 35% increased damage in PvP combat (was 15%).
- The Physical damage increase from Feral Spirit is now 33% effective in PvP combat.
- The Fire, Frost, and Lightning damage increase from Elemental Spirits is now 50% effective in PvP combat.
- Stormstrike now deals 75% increased damage in PvP combat (was 50%).
- Windstrike now deals 75% increased damage in PvP combat (was 50%).
- Restoration
- Developers’ notes: We feel Restoration Shaman is in a good spot. Rain Dance wasn’t as valuable as we were anticipating, so we’re aiming to increase its viability.
- Rain Dance now increases the healing done by Healing Rain by 30% (was 20%).
- Rain Dance now reduces the mana cost of Healing Rain by 45% (was 30%).
Rogue - Subtlety
- Developers’ notes: Burst damage from Subtlety has been higher than we’d like this season. We’re looking to keep the spec in a strong position while toning down their burst potential in short windows.
- Secret Technique damage is now reduced by 33% in PvP combat (was 25%).
- Shadowstrike and Backstab damage from Weaponmaster is now 50% effective in PvP combat.
- Flagellation’s Mastery bonus is now 80% effective in PvP combat.
- Dark Shadow is now 67% effective in PvP combat (was 80%).
Warlock - Developers’ notes: Inquisitor’s Gaze has been dealing a sizeable portion of Warlock damage this season, and we’d like damage to come primarily from active spells.
- Fel Barrage from Inquisitor’s Gaze now deals 40% reduced damage in PvP combat.
- Developers’ note: The high frequency of Amplify Curse has been problematic in PvP combat.
- The cooldown of Amplify Curse is now 60 seconds (was 30 seconds).
- Teachings of the Satyr now reduces the cooldown of Amplify Curse by 15 seconds (was 10 seconds).
- Affliction
- Developers’ notes: We are increasing the damage of Unstable Affliction’s backlash effect to lessen the value of dispelling Affliction’s damage over time effects. It’s been lower than we’d like, in addition to healers gaining extra health this season. Additionally, we’re increasing Shadow Bolt damage as the reward for casting it is lower than we’d like.
- Unstable Affliction backlash damage increased by 50%.
- Shadow Bolt damage increased by 30% in PvP combat.
- Destruction
- Developers’ notes: Destruction’s sustained DPS has been high and we feel this is mainly due to Shadowburn’s high multiplier. We would like for instant casts to be strong but not be the primary way to land kills.
- Conflagration damage is now reduced by 15% in PvP combat (was 9%).
- Shadowburn damage is now increased by 15% in PvP combat (was 45%).
- Demonology
- Developers’ notes: Demonology’s healing reduction effect from their Felguard was one of the best healing reductions in the game, which didn’t feel appropriate given the class identity, how easy it is to apply, and how it can be applied to multiple targets at a time. Along with Affliction, we’re also increasing the damage of Shadow Bolt in PvP, as the reward for casting it is low.
- Legion Strike reduces healing taken by 20% in PvP (was 25%).
- Shadow Bolt damage increased by 30% in PvP combat.

2023.06.02 21:27 ChaoticNeutralRec [NA][A][Turalyon][Semi-hardcore] 9/9N & 9/9H Aberrus! LF DPS! US - Alliance NA- Guild
Hey there! Chaotic Neutral on Turalyon Alliance is in need of more solid DPS to add to the roster for Aberrus, we're a semi-hardcore guild that raids Tues/Weds from 7:30-10:30 pm EST and an optional day on Saturdays at the same time frame if there's enough interest (usually used for alts or extra prog at the beginning of the tier).
**Info:** Our guild is comprised of a range of players, from ancient vanilla Molten Core headbangers to players just starting the game in recent history. Our guild has been raiding on Turalyon since 2005. We raid mythic, but with a goal toward more casual progression. We expect raiders to play responsibly in their chosen role, but if you can do well with off-meta specs we don’t demand flavor-of-the-month class/spec combos.
Overall we are a bunch of older raiders who like having a relaxed raid environment while also seeing how far we can get into mythic before the next tier, pushing CE isn't something we promise but we can promise that we're not a hardcore play-perfect-or-get-kicked guild, we prefer to keep our chill raid environment that's been around for a long time.
We also ask raiders to give us a heads-up if something comes around that makes them unable to raid for a night or going forward, It isn't too important of detail since most members do this already but we've had some people just not show at all and it can create frustration if it's ongoing.
For more info about our guild, please visit our guild website, guilds of wow page, or our forum post.
----
Prerequisites:
Come to raid prepared, with whatever resources you need to do your best
Let us know if you won’t be able to make raid, if we notice you have a tendency to flake out without saying anything, your spot may be revoked
Be aware of boss fights/mechanics
DBM/Big Wigs/MRT/alternative raid encounter add-on(s)
Weak Auras 2 is also recommended
Have a working microphone, and be prepared to orally communicate
Regularly attend raids
Be able to mesh and jive with the group (ideally no try-hards or massive egos, we're not like that.)
18+ only
----
**Open Spots:**
**We have a raid-leader slot open, currently our GM is holding that rank but it's not a role they want to keep forever, please add me for more info if you're interested about this role.**
Tanks: Tank spots are filled, but we will consider flex tanks.
Healers: Healer spots are filled, but we will consider flex heals.
DPS:
[High Prio] Mages, WW Monks, Rogues, Spriests, Warlocks, Warriors
[Med Prio] Enh/Ele Shammys, Devokers, Boomy/Feral Druids, Havoc DHs
[Low Prio] Ret Pallys, Hunters
Any solid performers feel free to apply anyway, even if your class/spec isn't listed!

2023.06.02 17:30 Twinkysheep Druid - Animal Friends build
Just because I'm sure there will be other folks out there who want to bring their fluffy, feathery and thorny friends along...
Do not sleep on hard maxing Creeper as fast as you can, and find yourself a legendary weapon with the Wearbear skill triggers 300% poison damage nuke (The Aspect is way tf down in the bottom west of the world map, good luck getting down there to do the dungeon early. Fish for a weapon roll via Obels). Storm basic with Vuln chance, Pulverise with Stun (Must be healthy, easy to do with a shielding ability like-), Bulwark with Unstoppable, Wolves with Fortify on hit (Attack speed is fine, you'll be looking out for crit at 40+ anyway), Raven with Vulnerable (Storm basic also works but this is AoE, ranged, fast and no RNG), Creeper with 3 extra seconds of active poison ramps the damage, then take I, II and III of +10% Companion skill damage. Ignore ultimate skills for the time being, upon reaching the bottom tree take the 30% damage boost wearbear option. Proceed to absolutely nuke things with Raven>Creeper>Pulverise>Wolf. Two handed weapons appear to offer the best damage option.
When completing the druid spirit class quest, all other Boons are personal taste but make sure you have the 20% chance on crit to reset all Companion ability skills boon. With crit on gear, I've managed to line up 3 consecutive Raven>Creeper>Pulverise>Wolf combos. Wolves are also a great tool for clicking on an archer that's bothering you and watching it vanish.
Build Vulnerable, Overpower, Companion and Poison damage boosts, but prioritise crit chance whereever you can feasibly get it. Taking % crit talents in the ability tree is highly recommended. Obviously take any gear that boosts Companion skills, but Creeper especially as this is your big nuke.
Enjoy the word vomit. I realise there are likely more effective builds out there for Druid, this is for the other Animal Friends players specifically. If you have any recommendations to add, feel free.

2023.06.02 16:32 Express-Set-8843 Having a blast
I've been avoiding the sub because I know what happens to subs when a game releases so I thought y'all could use something positive to read.
I haven't been a Diablo player in forever, wasn't much of a fan of D3 but I decided to give D4 a chance and I'm having a blast right now.
Went with a Druid (leaning on werebear talents) playing HC and just taking my time and I'm having a blast.
Anyways, hope you guys are having fun too. Stay positive guys.

2023.06.02 14:56 tofutuXx World of Warcraft employees
Hey geeks. I'm a partner and tasked myself with starting a thread about WoW after being baited by the WOW post.
Do any accountants out there play World of Warcraft? Boomer feral druid here who used to target AOTC/KSM/2100 each patch. I still play the game and I'm enjoying DragonFlight, but I didn't accomplish much during Season 1 (just duelist). Haven't done anything in S2 yet, but I did just get that slick Tarecgosa visage.
What class/spec do you main and what type of content do you focus on?

2023.06.02 07:50 midlife_slacker Do D4 skill choices feel "good"?
Been playing a lot of D3 in the past few months, and a stark difference I see is that D3 builds never feel like they need an extra active ability but have no free slots to use one.
Part is obviously because of how many D3 builds didn't need a resource builder, so D4 is down a button right off the bat. But they also had great synergies built up so that you could handle both AOE & single-target situations. Sometimes that needed 2 separate spender abilities, that was an easy tradeoff to make by sacrificing one of the other slots D4 sees as 'standard'.
D4's forced buildespender is trying to make resources feel like they matter again, but that ability slot combined with all the passive bonuses steering you into using a single ability school doesn't look that fun. The only class I see with any build diversity is druid double-were and that only works because it has a whole extra key passive talent dedicated to that style.

And don't worry about your safety; I've hired da best security in all of Azeroth, so no would-be thieves are gonna break into my super secure vault!
Come to Gallywix's Pleasure Palace! We've got it all! (...Except refunds)
Explanation: This idea is based on Gallywix's actual existing Pleasure Palace, and doing the Hearthstone twist of altering it for the game. Here, Gallywix has turned his base of operations into a luxury casino resort for the wealthy. The cards will be themed around different parts and characters of the resort, as well of the idea of "gambling".
The Classes: Each class will be based on a specific character for that part of the casino. To give some variety, especially since these characters have potential to be hero portaits, I picked new race/class combos not in the game yet to stand out. All the new characters will be one of the legendaries for their class and will have a gamble effect (see below)
Death Knight: Chef Tilly Frostoven. Gnome. Supposely she is claimed to be the personal chef of the Lich King in her previous job. She is a fancy and quite haughty chef, whose specialties are the bloodiest meats (blood), coldest desserts (frost), and most aged cheeses and wines (Unholy). Has a heated rivalry with Geeta Felgrill, whose restaurant is right across from hers. Gambling angle is preparing food without ruining it.
Demon Hunter: Aviss Felstep. Blood Elf. The current champion of the resort's dancing contest. With his incredible footwork and aerial manueveribility, he is a tough contender for anyone seeking the trophy. Gambling angle is not missing a step and scoring in the contest.
Druid: Sieg Moontea. Worgen. The husband of Madam Izu-Mi, he helps his beloved wife run the spa, using animal and plant-based therapies for weary and stressed customers.
Gambling angle is making guests happy.
Hunter: Ra'gor. Troll. Is the head of the animal-based acts. His menagerie of well-trained and beloved pets entertain all with their beauty and intelligence. Gambling angle is entertaining the crowd with the proper tricks.
Mage: Fenn. Night Elf. Aided by his silent vulpera partner, Jeller, the two put on a magnificent magic show. Gambling here is about entertaining the folks without them figuring out their tricks.
Paladin: Kacie Metalflash. Dark Iron Dwarf. The champion of the races. She and her personal ram, Dark Comet, have won more races than any other rider. Gambling here is keeping their place in the race without tiring.
Priest: Sarah Screachsong. Undead. The lead singer of the night club. Despite being dead, her voice still attracts all who hear her sing...even if she also have a deadly wail that can shatter glass and ear drums when she's angry. Gambling is moving the crowd.
Rogue: Flynn Fairewind. Kul Tiran/Human. (The only character here who actually exists in WOW). While coming as a guest, this sneaky rogue has come to loot both the tables and the secrets in Gallywix's vault. The gambling here is outwitting the dealers and navigating the security.
Shaman: Izu-Mi. Pandaren. The head of the Gallywix's Spa, she prides herself on her elementals making the most comfortable conditions for her customers, such as steam for steamrooms, fire for saunas, and water elementals for soaking. She also makes a delicious tea, helped brewed by her beloved husband, Zieg.
Warlock: Greeta Felgrill. Goblin. The head cook of Felgirl Grill. It is said she made certain deals with demons to cook the best food that would bring tons of cash into her wallet. Her more flashy and commerical cooking puts her at ends with rival chef, Frostoven. Gambling is cooking her food without burning it.
Warrior: Kalandu Staffsword. Nightborne. The head of Gallywix's security, he heads all of the muscle to boot out any troublemakers and would-be thieves to his boss's casino. He has combined his people's anti-arcane technology with Gallywix's (bargain bin) goblin tech to keep even mages out. Though that may not be such a reliable idea...
The story here is Flynn Fairewind is on a heist of Gallywix's casino. The other characters will be his partners in the heist, secret security, and/or rivaling treasure hunters.
The term here is "Gamble"; the game does have some random chance in it, but mostly its not really penalizing beyond not getting the cards you want on time. Here, whether you choose to gamble can be a game-changer for you or your opponent.
Gamble is basically a term for an effect (such as battlecry, deathrattle, attack, etc) that has an additional effect if you decide to take the risk. Basically, it will be a coin flip, and you're betting one additional mana and possibility a backlash effect if you fail. This is always optional, but the idea is to add a risk and rewards twist to the game.
Gambles can also happen during your opponent's turn, but only if you have mana leftover from your turn (so saving mana becomes stragetic as well)
Example:
High-roller Pit Boss. Warrior. 5-mana. 5/5. Any excess damage done between this and another minion is directed to the owner of the losing minion. Gamble: When this monster attacked or is attacked, flip a coin. Heads: Double this minion's attack this turn. Tails: Double opposing minion's attack this turn. (Basically, you can choose to make this monster stronger for a chance to cause more damage and possibly destroy a powerful monster, as well as cause excess damage to your opponent. But you also run the risk of making your enemy's monster stronger instead and doing excess damage to you instead)
Boxes of Vanishing: Mage. 3-mana spell. Arcane. Target one of your minions and one of your oponent's minions. Remove both from the game. Gamble. Win: Only your opponent's minion is removed. (Artwork is Fenn and Jeller standing in front of two boxes covered with sheets)
So some gambles will be more powerful and will carry an extra risk beyond spending one more additional mana to use. Also, gambles can never cost 0, so you always put in one (so they can't be cheated somehow)
Not all cards will be gambles though, obviously. Here's one non-gamble I thought of:
Kitten Treatment: Druid. 3-cost spell. Nature. Give all your minions this deathrattle: Summon a level 1 1/1 Kitten. Its keeps all enchantments from this minion except for deathrattles (so basically, you give your minions a deathrattle where they summon kittens that keep all the special buffs and effects you gave the original monsters, such as increased health and attack. Other deathrattles don't count to prevent abuse, such as doing two Kitten Treatments and getting an endless barrage of kittens) (Artwork is a night elf man, pandaren woman, and orc woman in spa robes with multiple cats all around them. The night elf man has two in his arms and smiling, the pandaren woman is petting the one on her lap, and the orc woman is blushing as she struggles to try and pet a sleeping one by her)
Gallywix himself will be a neutral legendary with a powerful effect for gamblers, but also worked so he will not become another Dentharius or Renethal. (In fact, he'll fit the theme while being opposite)
Gallywix, Casino Boss. Neutral. 7-star. 6/8. Start of turn: Shuffle 5 Gamble Chips into your deck. Battlecry: If five gamble chips have been drawn this game, then all gambles become free and always win. Artwork is Gallywix in a blinged out goblin mech, wearing sunglasses and furs, while showing off fancy rings on one hand.
Entrance Quote: Dis here is my casino and we're gonna play by MY RULES NOW!!!
Attack Quote: The house always wins!
(Gamble Chip. Draw a card when drawn)
Feel free to comment and add your own ideas!

2023.06.01 20:59 Scottish_Master Returning player : where to farm ?
Hey all, I am a returning player. I haven't seriously played since Dreanor. I got a free week and the obsession is back. With the new leveling system my feral druids gear is obviously massively lacking. I ran scarlet monastery just to see it was so simple but I got a number of items much better than I currently have. I don't yet have Dragonflight buy I am curious is there anywhere I should be farming to improve my gear. preferably somewhere I can farm solo.
Cheers

2023.06.01 15:54 rgwhitey I've never felt this useful (feral m+ hype)
Meowdy, Like the title says, I've never felt more useful (playing for more than 10 years) playing as a feral druid with this weeks m+ affixes. For everyone curious: I'm not beeing sarcastic. Having a (curse/poison) dispell which instantly deals with one afflicted, a decent instant heal for the second one, solid DPS especially in big packs, good survivability and a movementspeed boost for everyone every 1 min it just feels awesome. Last weeks incorporeal was great aswell plus we do have soothe for enraging. Though I'd share some of my hype with the community. Anyone feeling the same? Have a great day \o
EDIT: I meant afflicted, Not incorporeal. Added soothe cause I almost forgot

2023.06.01 06:06 EzekielWinters Draven, the Liberator of Zion [LitRPG, Cyberpunk, Fantasy] - Ch 1
Draven sliced through the neck of a feral mutant, his sword cleanly splitting throw its thick bone exoskeleton. The creature was a Marrow, a humanoid mutant creature that looked like a cross between a human and a gorilla. Thick white bone exoskeleton covered the Marrow as protective armor. Like all other mutants created through magic, Marrows were Hollows. Human beings that had their humanity hollowed by magic, transforming them into abominations.
The sense of impending death bombarded Draven’s mind, warning him of danger. He leaned to the side, dodging a bone spike launched. His hand shot out, plucking the bone spike from the air.
“Ari, turn the suit up to 100%,” Draven said as he locked on to the mutant who launched the bone spike at him. The creature was a Hollow Spike, longed limbed and thin like a rail. Sharp bone spikes protruded from its skin.
“Will do,” Ari, the AI part of his exosuit, voiced back. Steam drifted out of the air vents of the suit as the power core kicked into overdrive.
Draven launched himself at the Hollow Spike. Dirt exploded with every step he took as he blurred toward his opponent.
He focused his mind and dove into the Weave. Thousands of Sympathetic Threads become visible to his eyes, interconnecting every object around him. Draven focused on the Thread connecting the bone spike in his hand and the mutant Hollow in front of him. Mana essence flowed from his core and solidified the sympathetic connection.
Draven pulled the bone spike towards him, the spike taking on the weight of the Hollow as well now that they were bound together. The Hollow Spike came hurtling towards Draven’s charging form. Draven swung his blade, and flames manifested around it as it sliced through the mutant's midsection. Killing the creature in an instant.
Draven looked around, searching for more Hollow. But the only other person standing nearby was Master Sygvar. The rest of the Hollow had run away, seeking to live another day.
“Ari, disable combat mode.” Draven sheathed his blade as he approached Master Sygvar, “Do we give chase?”
Sygvar turned towards his disciple, “Yes, they might lead us to whoever is behind the attacks on the government.”
Sygvar looked towards the sky and whistled.
A mighty roar answered back, and the clouds parted as a massive object descended toward their position. Draven was in awe as the Fire Dragon Tywen plummeted towards the earth. The land quaked as the massive beast landed on the ground.
“You called,” the voice of Tywen was deep and gravelly. The dragon was massive, at least five to six war horses long. And easily taller than a two-story house. And Tywen was still growing. Black and red scales covered the dragon.
“Yes, we need you to follow the fleeing Hollow,” Sygvar said as he jumped onto Tywen’s back. He used a telekinetic push to give him a boost.
Draven followed after his master, using the same trick with telekineses to enhance his jump. He landed just behind Sygvar on Tywen’s back.

His Strength and Fortitude were his highest stats, each ten points higher than average.
Sygvar tapped Tywen on the neck, and the dragon took to the sky, soaring throw the clouds. Down below, Draven could see the Hollow feeling through the fields.
“That’s good. We’ll have a celebration later today. Now tell me the paths you have available,” Sygvar said.
Draven opened his status and selected the Paths tab.

Draven selected the Way of the Al’Manti, and the other paths disappeared.

“Why those?” Draven asked.
“Because you have been training those five skills since you join the Al’Manti. Your skill level is higher than the common level 0 those Talents will start at. This means you will level extremely fast, and you will get Path Points faster for a short time.”
“Do you have any other suggestions?” Draven asked.
“If you want more Path Points, pick Exosuit Pilot, Sympathy, Apathy, and Entropy. If you want a more well-rounded build, go for Arcane Weaver, Synesthesia, Precognition, and Postcognition. Those will enhance your senses, especially when connected to the Weave.”
Draven nodded and closed his status. He was not in a rush to select his Talents. He had all day to think about it.
Tywen banked downwards, the wind blasting against Draven’s exosuit almost making him fall off. Draven leaned down, making his body more aerodynamic. Tywen landed with a thump, shaking the ground as he landed.
“The Hollowed went into that cave,” the Tywen said.
Draven jumped down from Tywen’s back, followed by Master Sygvar. They approached the cave on foot, Draven eager to try out his new Talents and progress his new path.
Draven followed after Sygvar as they entered the cave the Hollows fled into. He conjured a flame above his hand, providing light so that they could see. The cave was cold, and the air was stale from being underground. The floor was smooth, a sign that some type of machinery was used to smooth over the surface.
Then after a few paces, the cave opened up, and the walls transformed from their rocky texture to a smooth metallic surface of interlaying metal sheets.
“What is this place,” Draven asked as he took in the full view of the room they found themselves in. The room was three stories tall, with walkways leading into various rooms along the walls. Lights fixtures provided light, painting the room in a yellowish tint. Draven put out the flame above his palm, wanting to conserve energy.
“I hope it’s not what I think it is,” Sygvar said as he continued towards a computer console sitting in the middle of the room.
Suddenly, Draven heard roars, screams, and feet hitting the metal flooring. Sygvar drew his blade, and instantly a layer of flames began to coat the sword. Draven followed Sygvar’s example and returned his suit to combat mode.
Marrow and Spike Hollows flooded the room, screaming and pounding against the metal floor.
Draven threw himself forward, propelling himself with jets of fire from his feet. He flew towards a Marrow. Draven twirled, his blade leaving behind a fire trail as he cut through the Marrow like a tornado.

“An Al’Manti and his little disciple? This should be fun.” A smile bled through the man’s voice as he drew a blade from his waist. He whistled, and the Bone Devils screamed, charging Draven and Sygvar.

2023.05.31 19:46 KLaMatry Starting Ranked PVP on Resto Druid
So I've had a pretty negative experience outside of BGs so far. I've only done Solo Shuffle and I honestly can't tell if Resto druid is incredibly bad right now, or if Mistweaver is that overpowered, but I legitimately could not keep my teammates up while the opposing healer capped theirs half a second out of stun. 0 rounds won, and it was entirely my fault.
Thing is, I geared for healing and that's my preferred role generally speaking. Feral feels awkward to play and Balance still kind of confuses me but I'm willing to try to learn. I can't imagine tank being a decent arena spec, but Guardian is the only other druid spec I find enjoyable most times.
Is this a skill issue? I really don't know what more I could have done when healing those rounds. Is Feral the only viable druid spec in arena right now? I like PVP but losing every round I play to (what felt like) an objectively better healing class isn't fun.

About: We are a dad guild who like to take raiding a bit seriously with a bit of banter. We are a close knit group that has been together since the beginning of Classic. So if you join us it will be as part of the tight knit roster.
Expectation: Understanding of the encounters and your responsibility in them. Your character and play is expected to be optimised (talents, gems, enchants, consumes etc.) We don't have patience for people who sign up to raids and no show. Be respectful and don't be a dick.
Loot: MS+1 > MS > OS with a few class prios and limited Tank prio. Regular Nice Off's

2023.05.30 19:17 LicoriceSeasalt Self healing classes for solo players.
What class and spec has the best self-heal abilities during combat and will do best when alone facing several enemies?
I'm 99% a solo player. I've mained feral druid for many years, and I'm usually doing fine with self heals and such, unless there's too many mobs. However I do feel kind of burnt out on it and would love to try something new. Especially interested in something wearing something else than leather, as I would love some different transmogs.
