God’s Grace

I've been for an early transabdominal uss today and they found a gestational sac but nothing else. Its measuring at 27.6mm so 7 weeks and 4 days.
They said it's possible its too early to tell and I need another trans vaginal uss. But I feel I'm too far along to see nothing.
I'm absoloutly devestated and i don't know what to do next. Has anyone else had any experice of this and had good news? I cant help but hope but I have a horrible feeling I'm going to be devestated again.
And those who have had bad news,how long did it take for your body to catch up? I was supposed to be 8 weeks today.
I'm just heartbroken.

My dad is a Cuban Christian FOX News-binging conservative boomer that believes hard work is all it takes to succeed in America regardless of age, race, zip code, mental/physical health, etc. bc that’s all it took for him back in his day to get to where he is, the current generation’s “problems” all just stem from laziness & entitlement.
I’m looking for basic, educational videos w objective factual statistics/information that would help him understand the naïveté of his views/beliefs and what the actual modern day reality is for most American citizens when it comes to work, money, health, etc. I’m an anti-worker and a progressive but I’m not trying to get him into all that, just at least have him come to some basic realizations and create some common ground for our strained relationship.

I’m always running late. I do try to be on time and have made a ton of improvements on my timeliness since being medicated for my adhd.
I was fired along with 5 others for breaking company policy. The policy being; employees using other employees badges to assist them in punch-ins and outs. I admit I have been involved in these activities, this has been a common practice amongst several employees and normalized by department managers throughout our place of employment.
I was running late about a month ago and I couldn’t remember how many lates I’ve had so I called my coworker to ask if she could clock me in. I told her if she wasn’t comfortable, no worries. She’s done it for SO many of my other coworkers and this is not something I do often at all. I’m talking a total of maybe 3 times in my almost 8 year employment with this company.
Well, someone reported it and it initiated an entire investigation but only with a certain group of people. We were all interrogated and they wanted us to crack and give up information on other employees…I didn’t admit to anything. Big mistake.
I should’ve looked out for myself but decided to deny, deny, deny. The main reason being there is a lack of confidentiality and careless handling of investigations conducted at my place of employment. Due to this issue, management is almost always aware of what is said and who said what. Too many people, including myself, are constantly wary of saying anything, knowing that it will inevitably always lead to some form of retaliation. Including but not limited to targeting by favoritism, cutting hours, inappropriate comments/behaviors towards the employee, etc.
I’m so mad at myself for not admitting to how many other employees are doing this. I just didn’t want anyone to get it trouble. My own boss does this and I have witnessed, with my own eyes, her retaliating against fellow coworkers for reporting her for harassment.
They suspended me. I came back after my suspension and they broke the news and I broke down into tears. I could barely compose myself. I’m a single mother of two. I fucked up, I failed my kids. I will never make $30 an hr again in the field of work that I do. Idk what to tell my landlord.
Fuck. I hate that adhd makes me procrastinate and makes it so hard to get out of bed in the mornings. I hate that I basically went on medication FOR this job so I could keep up with everyone else. Fuck shit fuckkkk

Netflix’s Bridgerton prequel had a big opening — one that also boosted interest in its parent show.
Queen Charlotte A Bridgerton Story debuted at No. 1 in Nielsen’s streaming rankings for May 1-7. The six-episode prequel, which premiered May 4, had 1.89 billion minutes of viewing in the United States for the week, easily outpacing every other title. Nielsen also notes that viewing for Bridgerton tripled for the week, coming in at 125 million minutes (though well outside the top 10 original series).

The 1.89 billion minutes of viewing for Queen Charlotte is equal to 31.47 million hours, a little over 20 percent of the worldwide total (148.28 million hours) that Netflix reported for the show’s opening week (Nielsen and Netflix use different methodologies for their measurement, so the Nielsen figure is a rough estimate of how much of the show’s audience came from the U.S.).

The previous week’s top title, Netflix’s The Diplomat, slid to ninth overall (and fifth among original series), with 711 million minutes of watch time.
Firefly Lane stayed in second place, improving by about 13 percent week to week to 1.25 billion minutes.
Sweet Tooth grew by 16 percent and also crossed the billion-minute mark with 1.07 billion minutes of viewing.
Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso came down some from the prior week’s series high but still posted a strong 715 million minutes of viewing.
The Mandalorian (319 million minutes) also hung in the top 10 originals list two weeks after its third season finale on Disney+.
The Netflix debut of the Tom Hanks film A Man Called Otto delivered 879 million minutes of viewing, easily leading the movie rankings and finishing fourth among all titles.

Roiled by rising borrowing costs and falling valuations that wiped out $148 billion of shareholder value, European landlords are bracing for a new wave of pain.
Property companies have about $165 billion of bonds maturing through 2026, while banks are reducing their exposure to the industry and credit costs are at their highest since the financial crisis. That’s left some of the firms at risk of being downgraded to junk status, making it even more expensive for them to borrow.
The headwinds include a crash in office values from the City of London to Berlin, leaving property as the least popular industry among fund managers for the third straight month, according to a Bank of America Corp. survey. Bloated with debt, many landlords will have to turn to asset sales, dividend cuts and rights issues in an attempt to rightsize the firms for a more turbulent future.
“The maturity wall could be a catalyst for transactions to happen because if borrowers are not able to refinance, they will have to exit,” said Jackie Bowie, head of EMEA at Chatham Financial. “You’ll have more assets sold in the market, I suspect, at distressed levels.” The poster child for the rout has been Swedish property firm Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB, which has plunged more than 90% since its all-time high.
Its debt pile of $8 billion, used to build up a portfolio of more than 2,000 properties, has turned into a millstone following the end of the cheap money era. The company’s efforts to shrink have attracted interest from the likes of Brookfield Asset Management, causing the share price to rally on Friday.
The landlord has already been downgraded to junk, leading it to abandon a planned rights issue, and the market is pricing in the prospect that others will follow. The majority of real estate bonds on the euro high-grade bond index were issued by companies that now have credit quality more typical of those with junk status, according to a quantitative model run by Bloomberg.
Unless they can shrink their debt piles or borrowing rates fall again, these so-called fallen angel candidates will probably have to pay higher rates for their credit when they eventually come to refinance.
‘Strong Incentive’
“There will be a very strong incentive for many of these issuers to get back to investment-grade. We’ve already seen them trying to defend that line in the sand as their business model is not naturally a high-yield one,” said Viktor Hjort, global head of credit strategy and desk analysts at BNP Paribas SA. Maintaining the rating, however, may prove unaffordable for some, not least because landlords’ hybrid bonds have tanked on the secondary market.
Some money managers are losing patience, selling notes back to the real estate firms that issued them, including Aroundtown SA and Sweden’s Heimstaden Bostad AB. The attraction of the liability management for landlords is obvious: prices for high-grade euro-denominated notes have fallen by almost a fifth since the start of 2022.
“Large, and sudden moves in nominal rates create uncertainty and it’s important to maintain financial discipline to navigate such periods,” said Heimstaden AB Chief Investment Officer Christian Fladeland. “We consider this to be reflected in our strong balance sheet, hedging policy, and the balanced maturity profile of our debt.” Aroundtown and SBB did not reply to requests for comment.
That’s left corners of the equity market flashing red flags not seen since the financial crisis. Forward price-to-book multiples suggests these stocks are trading at the cheapest levels since 2008. The metric measures the value of a company’s shares against the value of its assets.
The peak-to-trough selloff since August 2021 is nearing 50%, or $148 billion, leaving the Stoxx 600 Real Estate Index at a record low relative to the benchmark European stocks index.
The wider turmoil cost British Land Plc its place in the FTSE 100 after more than two decades while the owner of the Canary Wharf financial district in London was downgraded deeper into junk. A spokesperson for British Land declined to comment. Canary Wharf Group did not respond to a call for comment.
It’s also left real estate markets almost frozen with buyers demanding higher yields to compensate for the risk of rising interest rates and tenants leaving. The price of prime office buildings in Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam dropped more than 30% in 12 months, according to broker Savills Plc. “Sentiment is still pretty bad and that’s what’s reflected in this market pricing,” said Bowie at Chatham Financial.
It’s part of a global trend that has seen the amount of property bonds and loans trading at distressed prices exceeds $190 billion. That contrasts with other industries, where it’s shrunk in recent months.
There may be worse to come. Commercial real estate values in Europe could fall by as much as 40% because of the extent to which debt markets have been upended, Citigroup Inc. analyst Aaron Guy wrote in a note earlier this month.
In addition, he wrote, landlords may have to provide about 50% additional equity when they refinance an asset in order to satisfy metrics that banks and private credit funds lend against. That’s based on a refinancing rate of 6%.

The boss of Russia’s Wagner mercenary force, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has continued his months-long war of words with the leadership of the Russian armed forces by accusing pro-Moscow forces of planting explosives to harm his fighters as they retreated from Bakhmut. Writing on Telegram, Prigozhin said his men had discovered a dozen locations in rear areas where Russian defence ministry officials had planted various explosive devices, including hundreds of anti-tank mines. Addressing Prigozhin in a video message on Thursday, and using the diminutive of “Zhenya” and the familiar Russian form of you (“ty”), Adam Delimkhanov, a close ally of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, cast the Wagner boss as a blogger who shouts all the time.
