Hello, Just joined the group and I've been heavily googling Reddit and YouTubing along with social media but not much results back with help. I had an acquired an SV03 acouple days a go a buddy of mine had it first and for the life of him couldn't fiuger out how to get it leveled. It was practically brand new. Downside. He said it didn't come with the memory card. He was just using the cable to attach it to his laptop. All right? Whatever found a video talking about how to level it did it manually hit a rough spot with the BL touch thing again? Did some googling or YouTube video and a dabbling in to pronterface to help get the z down to the bed it worked great and I was getting some where along with a sorta work around with BLTouch I was able to print a boat. Sent a video and a picture to my one buddy who teased me saying my z was a little high so then I tried fixing it and now I can't get it back to printing the nozzle is to low to the bed I have to stop it before it scrape anything and I'm at a lost and feeling a bit defeated on what to do. I made shore to save everything when using pronterface and also made sure to add what I did to my slicer is there a way to just rest everything and start again? Or what should I do it's bin a long acouple of day

I recently got a 2004 350Z and it wasn’t until even more recently that I noticed only 3 of the 4 brake pads are shiny; this makes me believe that the brake is not actuating. However, I work in IT and cars are not my forte. It’s my rear driver side tire, I am just not even sure where to start and would appreciate any pointers. I’ve got a fair bit of tools and have a buddy who used to be a mechanic, but I don’t want to waste his time until I’ve got some sort of an idea as to what may be causing this issue. Thanks in advance for any help!

 | About 2 or 3 years ago, I stumbled across a cool model of Luigi as a Ghostbuster on the workshop for Garry's Mod. I tried it out for a little while before I got to work on my GMod movie, and I instantly loved the model and how well it worked. However, a little while after I had temporarily stopped messing with it, I had seen that it was removed from the Steam Workshop when I went to try to mess with it again, and there seems to be no real reason why it was removed. Links to its workshop page were still up for a little while last year, along with grainy pictures of the model in action, but eventually, the link and images disappeared from existence as of what seems to be recently. And last year, I found an image of the Ghostbusters Luigi model (not in Garry's Mod) on the Ghostbusters sub-Reddit that was done by the supposed "original creator," who is no longer on here apparently. I tried asking in the post the image was in if the model was available somewhere else on the internet or if anyone had a backup of the model, and if it would see the light of day again. However, I didn't get a response from anyone. I even asked someone on Steam if maybe they were the creator of it, but they said they didn't make it, and they didn't even know or hear about the model. In addition, I found a YouTube video where the model was used by someone in a Prop Hunt match, but there was no link to the model's workshop page in the description or the comments (since a lot of GMod Let's Play videos don't tend to do that). This is why I'm making this post: to ask if anyone even knew about the Ghostbusters Luigi mod and if you have a potential backup of it somewhere or if there's a possible archive of it on the internet somewhere. If anyone has answers to my questions, I'd appreciate the input. I'll provide the surviving images I have of it (including the original image of the model I found in the post on the Ghostbusters sub-Reddit), and hopefully we can find it again. I wish you all the best of luck in the hunt if there's going to be one for this model, and I would really like to see it restored for GMod. 2023.06.03 12:09 tesseramous Can I take ambien again if I already withdrew from ambien and benzos many years ago or will it rekindle me into a benzo withdrawal?
I could really use some ambien right now to deal with a raging cycle of chronic pain, insmonia, anxiety, back pain, and frustration with the bed (sleep anxiety) as this dragged on for months of sleeping 5-6 nights per week. Just having it there might make me more confident to sleep even if I dont use it. I remember taking ambien 8 years ago for 1 year 10mg every night until it stopped working a little but before then it was my most reliable and effective sleeping pill that could knock me out in the harshest conditions while having very little side effects and an easy withdrawal. But that was back then. Im a weaker person who much more concerned about withdrawals these days. I know that most of the scientific studies and the entire ambien sub says its totally nonaddictive in the 5-10mg dose with no withdrawal, and I'd like to believe this. But the problem is that Ive already withdrawn from ambien once and after my ambien withdrawal I went on to have other incidents withdrawing from full on benzodiazepines and antidepressants with 100 times worse withdrawals than ambien resulting in years of insomnia, chronic pain, illness, muscle spasms, and general dysfunction in society. The pain lasted so long that Im actually not even sure this was all from the withdrawal or if it was from lyme disease or something else. Nonethless I fear I have sensitized my nervous system and I have fears relating to being a previous member of benzo buddies for years. There they view ambien as just another benzo (the same effects) that can seriously jeopardize or reactivate a benzo withdrawal, or have a withdrawal on its own. Even if that is not true they still group it in with a long list of gabaergic substances that were previously innocent like magnesium or niacin but will now reactivate your withdrawal just because they jostle the gaba receptors. They also point to this neurological phenomenon called kindling where whenever you go back on a benzo or any drug, your next withdrawal will be even worse than the previous one. This all has me terrified of taking ambien again thinking that it could unearth this hell from the past and dig myself into an even deeper hole than the one I'm in now. What do you think? Can I take ambien again? Will it be as effective as it was 8 years ago? Will taking ambien reactivate and rekindle a 6 year old benzo withdrawal and put me in hell? Is benzo buddies full of shit? Does anyone have experience with this situation?

It's 4 am, i have a horrible cramp, and almost had to go to the ER earlier today so excuse my inarticulateness.
When I was 11 years old I was a very easily scared child. I didn't watch a lot of horror and the Wikipedia article for the human centipede gave me nightmares. My favorite show at the time, though, was gravity falls. A lot of parts of that show shook me as an eleven year old but that one did especially was in the episode into the bunker, the scene where the shapeshifter dies in Dipper's shape, with that contorted expression. It's too cartoonish to be actually scary and I laughed very hard the first time but the idea was unsettling.The concept of seeing your own mortality through an imitiation of yourself feels almost insulting, you know? That something inhuman knows how to mimic human fear. The scarier part is that the prediction almost comes true, when in NMM he gets frozen into the wooden statue making the exact same facial expression as the shape-shifter did in his shape. It heebies my jeebies, the idea of a shapeshifter not only knowing how to replicate your body, but knowing exactly what you do and how you react when dying. That's something you don't know about yourself and yet this creature can tell before you do. I would express it better but again it's 4 am.
Naturally, being older now and having seen some really depraved stuff, a kids cartoon is pretty much nothing visually but some concepts still stick with me, especially the Sock Opera. Much possession horror I've seen has focused on the act of possesion- but gravity falls made it a point that Dipper watches his own body be self-harmed whilst possesed. The passivity of watching yourself be seperated from your body is very frightening imo. It poses the question- what would you be without your body? It poses the even scarier question of do you even exist without your body. Sure, there's a common belief in the soul, but how would that work? You can't think or feel without a brain- and what would the purpose of the soul be if not to think or feel. What are we without our bodies? I think I'm getting off topic though. Sock Opera was interesting to me but kind of messed up when you think about it even though it's played for laughs. It's one of my favorites due to how creatively it approaches possession. Bill does not waste time getting used to using dipper's body. There was no "wacky hijinx"- he just stumbles in a body not made for him, and immediately uses it to feel pain. Think of the anticipation of knowing you need your body back, but don't want to feel the injuries inflicted on you. Think of the empathy, the pain byproxy you already feel watching videos of other people getting hurt. It's likely so much eerier when it's your image. "Watches" is the key word here- the horror lies half in the injury and half in the knowing you have no control whilst the injury happens. And of course, in that this is not "you" getting hurt. It is just a demonic image of you, and for a minute there, nobody else can distinguish that imitiation from the true you. How far do other people think you'll plausibly go?
Gravity Falls had a lot of cool horror concepts that I sometimes wish weren't in a kids show so they could be explored better. I think directly watching rather than the "jumpscares" or lack of awareness is

I want to upgrade my transmitter to a Radiomaster Boxer. I have read a lot of discussions, but most them are on diydrones or fpv, and I have noticed that most drone racers are biased towards ELRS, whereas I mostly plan on flying foam or 3D printed airplanes, that I will make myself, 1 FPV racing Quadcopter that I built a few years ago (with a FrSky R-XSR receiver) and an Eachine E010. The prices in EU are currently: -ELRS: 190€ (203$) -4in1: 170€ (182$) -CC2500: 120€ (128$)
Since I don’t fly the Quad often, and when I do I fly alone and in open spaces, I don’t think I need to upgrade to ELRS (plus I have less and less time for tinkering, so a more plug and play option seems more reasonable). My dilemma is: Is it worth spending 50€ more for the 4in1. The only thing that I have, currently that would benefit is that I could bind my Eachine E010 (from what I gather it’s not possible with the CC2500). For everything else I plan on using Radiomaster or FrSky receivers, that work with CC2500. And I don’t see myself buying RTF airplanes, that would need the 4in1.
Should I reconsider looking at the ELRS, is it really the future? And would it be better if I decide to do more fixed wing FPV? Should I go with the 4in1, or should I save a bit of money, buy the CC2500, that fits all my needs right now, and if need be buy a 4in1 or ELRS module down the line? Extra info: in 2-3 years, I wont be a student anymore, so money wont be an issue, and my nephew will be a bit older, so I can buy a TX16 4in1 for myself, and give him my old Boxer, and we can buddy box.
TLDR: I don’t know if CC2500 is enough, if I should spend more for the 4in1 or even reconsider ELRS.

2023.06.03 11:52 tesseramous Can I take ambien again if I already withdrew from ambien and benzos many years ago or will it rekindle me into a benzo withdrawal?
I could really use some ambien right now to deal with a raging cycle of chronic pain, insmonia, anxiety, back pain, and frustration with the bed (sleep anxiety) as this dragged on for months of sleeping 5-6 nights per week. Just having it there might make me more confident to sleep even if I dont use it. I remember taking ambien 8 years ago for 1 year 10mg every night until it stopped working a little but before then it was my most reliable and effective sleeping pill that could knock me out in the harshest conditions while having very little side effects and an easy withdrawal. But that was back then. Im a weaker person who much more concerned about withdrawals these days. I know that most of the scientific studies and this entire sub says its totally nonaddictive in the 5-10mg dose with no withdrawal, and I'd like to believe this. But the problem is that Ive already withdrawn from ambien once and after my ambien withdrawal I went on to have other incidents withdrawing from full on benzodiazepines and antidepressants with 100 times worse withdrawals than ambien resulting in years of insomnia, chronic pain, illness, muscle spasms, and general dysfunction in society. The pain lasted so long that Im actually not even sure this was all from the withdrawal or if it was from lyme disease or something else. Nonethless I fear I have sensitized my nervous system and I have fears relating to being a previous member of benzo buddies for years. There they view ambien as just another benzo (the same effects) that can seriously jeopardize or reactivate a benzo withdrawal, or have a withdrawal on its own. Even if that is not true they still group it in with a long list of gabaergic substances that were previously innocent like magnesium or niacin but will now reactivate your withdrawal just because they jostle the gaba receptors. They also point to this neurological phenomenon called kindling where whenever you go back on a benzo or any drug, your next withdrawal will be even worse than the previous one. This all has me terrified of taking ambien again thinking that it could unearth this hell from the past and dig myself into an even deeper hole than the one I'm in now. What do you think? Can I take ambien again? Will it be as effective as it was 8 years ago? Will taking ambien reactivate and rekindle a 6 year old benzo withdrawal and put me in hell? Is benzo buddies full of shit? Does anyone have experience with this situation?

I’m not very good at social interactions and really struggle to go out and make friends in person, so I thought I’d try my luck on here. My narc is an incredibly spoiled and privileged person. Not once before he met me did he not get a woman he didn’t want. We had a weird relationship but I never truly gave into everything he demanded from me. Although there was a lot of mental manipulation, I never had sex with him because I was really scared to. My narc has a lot of addictions issues which includes sex. I proceeded to cut him off after I realized he was with another woman. Never directly contacted since. It completely broke him despite him ignoring me for months before this happened. He began to obsess hard on getting me back for the span about three years since I cut him out. He was trying to get my attention and became scary desperate towards the end. He went through two girlfriends during this time. I also attempted to expose him since I was terrified of him hurting someone else. He went radio silent and then came back swinging. I’m not sure if he just wants to drag me through the mud and is mentally over it or if this obsession cycle will continue on. How long was it until your Narc finally stopped?
