2023.03.30 04:24 -go-on- 37 [M4F] Philippines (I'm in NY)
I'm in New York (USA) but looking for a Filipina. For some reason all the best women seem to be in the Philippines. I don't care about your age (just be 18+), height, weight, education, income, or any of that crap. Please be single, nice, and looking for a long term monogamous relationship. If you're the kind of girl that messes things up because you're too clingy or come on strong, that's a plus in my book. I would rather you be yourself and honest with me than pretend for the sake of trying to follow social norms.
I have a high tolerance for crazy, so long as it's not dangerous crazy. Like if you are the kind to murder me in my sleep, I'm going to have to pass. lol No liars, cheaters, or thieves. I need to be able to trust you completely for our relationship to succeed. If you're a puppet for politicians and can't think for yourself, that's a big turnoff. I have cats, so if you're allergic, it's probably not going to work. I have no kids and not looking to date anyone with kids from a previous relationship. As for having kids in the future, I’m leaving that up to you (whoever I end up with). I’m good either way.
I do my best to accurately describe myself including all the negative things. My hope is that if there's something you can't deal with then we can save each other's time. The goal after all is quality and not quantity. I wish I could sell myself as someone interesting, but in all honesty, I live a very boring life. My stomach isn't great and it's makes any kind of traveling a pain. I'm very much a homebody. What do I do with my free time?--I'm pretty good at working with my hands and always have some project going on. Often it’s fixing things around the house.--I love music. I have so many albums I could listen 24/7 for over 27 days straight without hearing the same song play twice. Mostly it’s 80s and 90s.--I have a massive video game collection that includes a Xbox Series X, PS5, Switch, and more retro consoles than I care to count. I also have a pretty nice gaming PC I built. I'm not a competitive person so I prefer games that are co-op vs AI.--Recently I got back into RC vehicles after being out of the hobby since middle school. Not sure if I’ll stick with it since it’s basically like video games with an added expense from everything breaking. At least it gets me out of the house more often though.--I enjoy watching movies although I find a lot of newer stuff to be "eh". I have a really nice home theater setup.
Your picture will get mine. I must be right between 5’10” and 5’11” because I feel like every other time I’ve gotten measured they switch between the two. I hover around 200lb. Yeah, I could probably lose a few pounds, but considering how often I eat pizza, cheeseburgers and fries, I’m surprised it isn’t worse. Bald and what brown hairs left are turning gray. I’m not a ‘shave everyday’ kind of person. I let my beard grow a bit and then shave it off.
If you write me, please have some patience. There is a 12 hour time difference between NY and PH. If by some miracle I get more than one reply, I’m really not good with juggling multiple conversations. Also, if we talk on something that shows if your message has been read or when I was last online, please don’t pay attention to it. At night I have a tendency to check my phone when I wake up to use the bathroom but I’m too tired to type something out. During the day there’s a good chance I’m on a ladder or under a sink or something like that. I glance at my phone to make sure it’s not an emergency and will reply later. I don't want you to think I'm ignoring you. Stating the obvious: if you give off any kind of fake/spam/scam vibes, you aren’t going to get a reply.

2023.03.30 04:24 deadnett My friend needs a 2nd Amendment Lawyer.
A friend of mine is in custody and he’s been charged with felonies for possession of an “assault rifle” and “high capacity magazines.”
He purchased these legally in NY pre-safe act and did not modify anything.
He asked me to see if I could help him find some good 2nd Amendment lawyers so I thought I’d ask here.
That’s all I’m will to share here.
I’m hoping to gather a list and send it to him.
Thank you.

2023.03.30 04:19 timbrita Am I being underpaid ?
A little bit about myself. Graduated as Civil Engineer in Middle of 2016, moved to the us and have been working for the same company since 2017 so I’m close to 6 years of experience in MEP. All my projects are in NYC which is where my company is at. Started as simple FP drafter and then, due to have prior knowledge, I picked the Plumbing roles for some of biggest projects the company ever had. Nowadays I take care of the HVAC Engineering department where I manage the other drafters and also model, coordinate, design, and sometimes I’m a PM of some of the jobs too. I’m proficient with Sheet Metal, Mech piping (hydronics and VRF) and Plumbing. In terms of extra courses in the US I’m finishing the HVAC design certification from NYU, and will be taking my FE this year (I couldn’t take before due to personal reasons) My firm is not too big neither too small. Skills: Autocad MEP, REVIT, navisworks, Bluebeam, Procore and proficient on all of them (use all of them on a daily basis) and also, Fabrication dwgs and spooling
Total comp: 93k per year WFH I feel like I’m being underpaid, especially with the amount of responsibility that I have, what are you guys thinking ?

2023.03.30 04:19 evansdead Huge long shot, but I’m looking for my great grandfather’s Gibson L-5.
My great grandfather played guitar in a big jazz band in Albany, NY way back in the 40s and 50s. I never got to meet him, but feel a sentimental attachment. I feel like I inherited my love for the guitar from him.
Until I came along, he was the only musical person in my family. As such, my grandpa sold his dad’s Gibson L-5 sometime around in the 60s or 70s to a musician in Scarsdale, NY for $500. My grandpa didn’t need it, and I don’t think he understood the value.
If you’re that musician, I would love to buy that guitar from you. I know they’re priceless now, but the thought of showing my grandpa his dad’s guitar again and playing my great grandfather’s instrument is priceless.

2023.03.30 04:15 seekdelicious Which TurboTax to Get as a Freelancer & Employee?
Hello All,
I've used Turbotax for many years but I've ran into a dilemma.
I worked as a freelance writer first three quarters of 2022 while living in New Jersey. I have paid quarterly taxes throughout the year.
I got a job in New York so I moved near work. I now don't do freelancing anymore. I've lived here in NY since August. I got my W2 and ready to do my taxes.
- Which version(s) of TurboTax do I get?
- Can I do tax reporting for both scenarios with the self-employed software?
ChatGPT tells me I have to get both deluxe and self employed - not sure if this is correct though.
Thanks!

2023.03.30 04:12 lava48 Understanding taxes on RSUs
I am earning income from RSUs for the first time and have what I'm sure will be a very naive question: I was able to elect to have 37% withheld for my vested shares, but I'm ultimately experiencing a near 55% withholding. I assume this is because I live in NYC, but I'm trying to understand if I'm likely to get a refund next year as a result of potentially overpaying?
Apologies in advance if this question is either obvious or doesn't make sense -- very much in learning mode!

Hi all,
I live in Boston but work for a company headquartered in NYC. We have a Boston office which I work from, but my W-2 says New York on it.
Would I need to file state for NY as well? Not too familiar how that aspect would work.
Thanks

2023.03.30 04:08 Old_Recommendation30 47 [M4F] #NYC is it bad I’m a munch?
So I was chatting with a younger woman (20f) and I mentioned I’d eat her pussy and she called me a munch. Is that a bad thing?
I’m a 6ft Latino and I’ve been a munch since before it was even a word in the 90s and early 2000’s. Idk I’ve always enjoyed it. I guess I’m the type of man who does it for my own pleasure and women just reap the benefits.
Anyway looking for a younger lady who’d like a man like that. If you’re into a big age gap and tired of boys who can’t please a woman then hmu and let’s chat about it. Im also kink friendly and 420 friendly so tell me what you’re into.
I’m in NY like 20 miles north of the city and also bear NNJ so if you’re close let’s talk about doing something risky.
I’m a single dad and sending the kids to their mom tomorrow so I can host. Lets chat.

2023.03.30 04:02 BeardedAnus How is Union Surveying compared to working for a private company? What is the current situation like with them?
Good evening surveyors,
I am looking to join my local union for an upgrade in pay. I would like to know union surveying entails and the day to day of it. Would you say it is more intense than working for a private company? I don't mind doing construction but I am concerned about the toll on my body. Also how often do they drug test you? And is there any compensation for travel? Also what about any training for CAD and whatnot, and if these things go towards getting your license.
What are the best ways I can get in? I have tried looking for information online and it is very slim. Is work slowing down and are they hiring. I would preferably like to join nj/ny so if anyone has any experience with those please let me know.
