2023.06.03 13:01 renovarefuels44 Matthew Stone Teysha Technologies Discovered a Breakthrough Against Plastic Pollution

UK company Matthew Stone Teysha Technologies have developed an entirely unique technology platform for the production of an organic-based, plastic substitute with almost unlimited market applications.
The European Commission's lawmakers recently announced plans to ban a range of plastic items, including single-use plates, straws and cutlery by 2021 with new rules that mark increasingly ambitious efforts by governments to reduce marine pollution. European officials said the move was also part of a broader strategy to create a market for recycled plastics and spur investment in new types of packaging in the bloc. The EU move is the latest in a series of similar policies which have been implemented by governments across the world as concerns have grown over plastics polluting oceans, damaging marine wildlife and infecting our food chain.
Existing organic plastic substitutes are inhibited by limited usability, or the need to be treated in specific conditions to biodegrade. Teysha's technology has none of these inhibitors, and can for the first time genuinely provide a realistic alternative to one of the biggest environmental challenges of a generation. Our manufacturing compatibility, product versatility, and end-point degradability, provide us with a technology that has the potential to change our lives, and those of future generations."
The ground-breaking technology itself is designed to act as a base platform where various modified natural product monomers and thiol co-monomers are used, rather than being a single polymer system. This "tunability" of the technology will allow for the manufacture of a wide variety of final products; from medical implants and vehicle moulding to food packaging even cladding for building construction. The final biopolymers can be engineered to be hard and resistant or soft and malleable, all of which can be directly applied to existing plant machinery with low capital cost.
The company which is headquartered in West London is currently raising A-round finance under the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), going through optimisation and scale up, with sports fishing lures already sub-licenced for commercial markets, and will move towards the launch of full-scale production for broader markets shortly

2023.06.03 12:48 Brilliant_Radish_466 45 [M4F] #Nottingham UK - Could your summer outfit make me cum?

Summer finally seems to have arrived, which can mean only one thing - Nottingham's finest will be out and about wearing short shorts, strappy tops and generally showing a lot more flesh than usual.
It's such a rare treat to see so many gorgeous looking girls that when I get home from a trip out in this weather I often can't resist jerking off at the thought of what I've seen. I sometimes wonder whether they realise what an effect they have on us men.
So my challenge is, tell me (or show me) what you're wearing and I'll tell you (or show you) whether just the sight of you in it would be enough to get me cumming.
I'm happy to do this online but would be even happier to do it in person - I love having an audience while I stroke my cock, and I've met up with girls from Reddit a couple of times before to do it. I can host in Nottingham (West Bridgford), or I'd be happy to travel further afield (Leicester, Derby, Sheffield or elsewhere in central England) for the right person.
All levels of experience welcome, so if the hot weather has got you feeling frisky enough to try something daring, drop me a chat.
Appearance-wise I'm white, tall (6'1"), strong build (95kg). I'm also discreet, respectful and pretty laid-back.
18+ females ONLY please

2023.06.03 12:43 Entity904 World Building Post: The Enili Princedom

Enili is one of the largest southern princedoms, the strength of which is heavily reliant upon the support of the Kawriq Empire. It is ruled by a prince, currently Izevel, who is the head of the princedom senate, overseer of the court of judges, and possesses unquestionable executive power within the nation.
The soil there is of a bright orange to dark brown coloration. Alhough it does not hold many natural resources, it is a treasure in itself, fertile and capable of sustaining great forests and farmlands. Woodwork, harvested crops, livestock meats and furs, woven fabric, pottery and glass, as well as experienced professionals make up most of the country's exports. Metals, spices, alcohols, scrolls of papyrus and many other materials need to be purchased from merchants from the north, east, and west. The people of Enili commonly use clay tablets for writing and notation, but since the nation fell under the influence of the Kawriq Empire papyrus scrolls began to significantly gain on popularity.
The princedom does not possess a large army, and its city lacks in strategic defenses. However, it does maintain a fleet of over fifty state-owned ships to deal with pirates and perform escorts of important individuals and resources, while the city militia is numerous, well-trained, and well-equipped.
The City of Enili, located on the most eastern flank of the Kawriq civilization and easily accessible from land and sea by travelers and merchants from far away, has become a safe stop for those travelers. It allows them to rest in their journey, make repairs to their vessels and equipment, and resupply at a relatively cheap price. Many buildings at the center of the city were built out of white imported marble and sandstone, while on the outskirts wood and orange clay bricks are the most dominant materials.
The city has been expanding both in population and size at an unprecedented pace for the last few years, reaching no less than one hundred thousand citizens, about sixty thousand non-citizens (mostly immigrants from Kawriq, and people from the dry and hot north) and thirty thousand peasants with limited rights. To gain a citizenship and the benefits it grants one has to serve at least twenty four years in the city militia, navy or military (and half as much to become a half-citizen) or be born to a pair of citizens, or one citizen and one half-citizen. Half-citizens are effectively citizens who were born to pairs of a citizen and a non-citizen, however child of a pair of two half-citizens will always be a non-citizen. They can improve their status and become a full citizen by paying a half-citizen tax for twelve years and completing a written test of citizenship.
The city posses a primitive, mostly covered sewage system, making it suprisingly clean and pleasant-smelling for its size.
The faith of the feathered twins has recently become the main religion, and while the cults of most of the lesser gods have died out or been nearly completely abandoned, however their statues and symbols are still understood to attract good spirits. They are still actively prayed to, but more as a group. Those relics of the past can often be seen in public meeting areas and households, bringing luck to the citizens. Similarly, the fossils and bones of long-dead animals have always been understood to protect from tge evil spirits, the fuller and more accurately articulated the skeleton, the better. In accordance with the dominant Enili philosophy known as the "palace of the higher needs," no temples or ancient statues were purposefully demolished. Instead, they were repurposed to serve the feathered twins. The religious conversion was mostly swift and bloodless, thanks to countless public speeches by philosophers, government officials, and public representatives, as well as successful negotiations between interested parties.
There are many skilled craftsmen living within Enili, purchasing raw resources from merchants and selling finished products with profit. Many private, priesthood-owned and state-owned schools exist there, the most well known of which is the Enili School of Craftsmanship and Philosophy, located in a repurposed ancient temple on the western bank of the river Izu. According to many the Enili School represents the highest standard of education in all southern princedoms. A large population of alchemists lives in the eastern part of the city, producing and selling a great number of elixirs of questionable effectiveness, though there are many things they produce that have been proven to function as intended, coloured glass being one of them. The woodwork sector is also strong within the city, producing great art, furniture, and sturdy ships of the Enili pattern. Many poets, artists, sculptors, architects, engineers, and philosophers also live within the city, and their works are the pride of Enili people.
The coinage there is somewhat unusual. The "unicorns" are the very recently introduced coins of the highest value. They are round, made of platinum and iron, and bear the image of the creature on one side and the stylized profile carving of Izevel on the other. They are worth one thousand of the golden coins each. The "envoys" are the second most valuable coin, made of gold, square, and with a hole at the center. They bear the image of two envoy birds on one side and the ruler of the Kawriq Empire on the other. There is also another, older version of this coin still in use called "phoenixes," which has the image of a phoenix on one side and the likeness of either Izevel, Izevel's father, or another old ruler on the other. Each golden coin is worth twelve silver coins. The triangular silver "altars," each with a hole in the middle, bear the images of a fish, a crowhorse, and wheat, respectively in each of the corners, and the panorama of Enili on the other side. Each silver coin is worth twelve of the round coloured glass coins, known as "tokens", which can bear a great variety of state-mandated symbols, and are mostly orange in coloration.
The Morning Mountains Colony is a territory aquired relatively recently by the Princedom of Enili by a threat of force and exchange of many coins. It's a small but growing city located near the source of river Izu, counting around ten thousand non-citizens in population. It is ruled by a council made up of its inhabitants and a governor from the City of Enili. The Colony is relatively prosperous and content with it's current political situation. Trade has significantly increased since it joined the princedom, living conditions have improved and a few schools and roads have been built. It's better fortified than the City of Enili, with a steep cliff protecting it from one side and a palisade from the other. The Colony possesses a military force counting around one hundred armored envoy riders, three hundred crowhorse-riding archers, three hundred infantry and ten ships. The purpose of this very expansive force (maintained mostly from the taxes of the citizens of the City of Enili) is to protect the trade routes, eliminate bandits, maintain peace and protect the north of the Princedom of Enili.

2023.06.03 12:42 miklcct Paying £50 extra per month to take the tube for 2 stops everyday - worth it?

I'm moving house soon and unfortunately it isn't close to a National Rail station, but there is a tube station (Willesden Green) nearby.
If I use the tube to commute, I'll need to buy a Travelcard instead of a National Rail season ticket, which is much more expensive (I travel frequently enough to warrant an annual). I can avoid it by cycling two stations down the line (Willesden Green to West Hampstead) to a National Rail interchange from where I can use a great value National Rail season ticket.
It works out to be about £50 per month more if I need to use the tube instead of avoiding it by cycling to an NR station whenever possible, and I plan to travel 24-28 days a month (i.e. including weekends)
In your opinion is it worth the extra to take the tube for two stops every day?

2023.06.03 12:33 autotldr Turkey’s Erdogan to be sworn in as president, to name new cabinet

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 64%. (I'm a bot)
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to be sworn in as head of state after winning an historic run-off election to extend his two-decade rule for another five years.
Turkey's longest-serving leader faces considerable diplomatic challenges amid tensions with the West.
Erdogan won 52.2 percent of the vote while his rival Kemal Kilicdaroglu 47.8 percent, official results show.
Turkey's new members of parliament started being sworn in on Friday in their first session after the May 14 election, also attended by Erdogan.
Erdogan's victory came against a unified opposition coalition led by Kilicdaroglu, whose future as leader of the CHP party remains in doubt following the defeat.
Erdogan has been dragging his feet in approving the application, accusing Stockholm of sheltering "Terrorists" of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party which is listed as a terror group by Ankara and its Western allies.

2023.06.03 12:31 Free-Cicada-7292 1931 Canadian Census has missing census sheets (British Columbia)

I have gone through all sub districts in Kootenay West in British Columbia and there's two subdistricts that have a note that just say "Book missing" (Sub-districts 14 and 92). Summing up the population from the 93 subdistricts compared to the official publication of the 1931 census leaves a shortfall of 494 inhabitants (281 males and 214 females). They constitute 1.2% of the census district's population.
The urban population of Census district 231 Kootenay West is fully accounted for in the cencus sheets, but it's in the rural population where there's these missing almost 500 individuals. There are minor errors with the cities of Nelson and Trail where the totals don't match, but these cities are spread over several sub-districts and I haven't done a detailed head-to-head count myself to check which of the many totals to use. Regardless, the error there is 8 persons extra in Nelson and a few (3 or 4) short in Trail.
This means that at least 10 census pages in two books/folders have disappeared between the completion of the census and its tabulation in 1931 and early 1930s and the microfilming of the censuses. Unfortunately, the person I was looking for is likely on one of these missing pages. I have already seen that 230 Kootenay East also has a few missing pages. It's likely that other parts of Canada have had the same issue, but it's probably a small share of the total population.

2023.06.03 12:28 digitalkonbini Any way around the Taming raft glitch - tamed dinos fall out or vanish

Started Ark in April. My family loves the game. We play PVE on official servers on the island. Living in the south we decided to build a taming raft to head to the north west and north east points of the map to catch more rare dinos. I built a taming raft from YouTube and we have been able to catch quite a few dinos.
The problem is transporting then back. Even in the enclosed trap they sometimes vanish off the raft. I drive carefully, constantly checking back on them, avoid rocks and tight spots yet sometimes even the slightest turn and they are gone. It's like they are not even connected to the raft. The raft turns, the dino doesn't turn with it and then vanishes through the walls.
Is there any way around this? Am I building the raft wrong? Should I give up on taming rafts? We have only gotten 2 of 10 tamed dinos successfully home!

2023.06.03 12:09 EGWORANTS Not all Asian kpop stans attending concerts in the west are sasaengs.

I would like to shed light on something I have observed from attending many concerts and possibly explain how dangerous this rhetoric going around currently is. I can only speak on experiences from attending concerts in the United Kingdom but from what I have read online, the same applies everywhere.
I have witnessed non Asian kpop fans make snide comments at any Asian person they see that is wearing designer and attending a kpop concert, they’ll snarl at them, and attempt to rile them up so they can be removed by security. This behaviour was the most prominent when I attended TDS2 in London, I was in complete and utter shock about how many people treated Asian people with complete disregard. Kpop is Korean- 99% of the idols are of Asian descent, it makes no sense how many non Asian people are contributing to casual racism in a space that wasn’t created for non Asians in the first place.
Seeing people complain about “international students” (they mean East Asian students attending university in UK) purchasing tickets to concerts because they feel that the international students are not genuine because they aren’t as loud as them and because apparently all international students attending concerts in the west are- stalkers?
As ridiculous as it sounds I’ve heard people that frequent at these kpop concerts say this. So I’d like to express yet again- kpop is not YOUR SPACE! Asian people attending concerts in the west deserve to go in confidence and without fear of anxiety. Expressing your prejudice for people from countries that you obsess over because you’re jealous that they share their culture with their faves does not make you a good person. This harmful rhetoric going around NEEDS to stop. Also please do not be a bystander when you hear these comments go around, please help by telling people how racist they sound.
With kpop suddenly becoming popular in the west so many people are forgetting that kpop is not western at all. Please, treat Asian fans better and stop categorising them by what they wear and how they may walk or talk. Not every East Asian you see at a concert is a sasaeng- in fact, there’s only very few that are and non Asian people can also be obsessive stalker fans too but I don’t see people categorising non Asian kpop fans…..
